The State of Minnesota is seeking a Security Operational Analyst to join the Enterprise Security Office in St. Paul. You will analyze IAM programs, ensure secure authentication and identity access controls, and address identity-based threats and misuse.

You will perform system analysis and design within MNIT infrastructure, work with data lakes and scripting, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve security posture. This role is 50% onsite with telework eligibility based on policy.

Qualificações

• Minimum four years of IT-related experience (systems analysis, IAM, cybersecurity, or IT service management).
• Experience using Visio to create process diagrams and building PowerBI reports for data analysis.
• Experience with IAM security controls including authentication, MFA, and access management.
• Experience analyzing security or operational data to identify anomalies, trends, and risk.
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and communicating findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused, problem-solving approach.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze processes, business routines, and services of MNIT ESO teams.
• Focus on IAM programs, ensuring identity protections and effective authentication controls.
• Support day-to-day security, availability, and integrity of identity types across Executive Branch.
• Perform system analysis, programming, and design within MNIT infrastructure; test and identify issues.
• Recommend configurations and technologies such as data lakes, GitHub, and scripting.
