Caris Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Identity Resolution and Master Data Management in Irving, TX. You will design, build, and operate services that ensure accurate patient and provider identities across complex healthcare data flows.

Responsibilities include implementing matching logic, maintaining data models, and ensuring auditable controls in regulated environments, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted development and automated testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production software systems.
3+ years designing or operating entity-resolution, record-linkage, MDM, or comparable identity systems in production.
2+ years building system integrations through APIs, event-driven patterns, or batch data pipelines.
Experience with high-volume production services and observability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and maintain identity-resolution and MDM services for patient and provider data.
Develop and tune deterministic and probabilistic matching across attributes.
Implement workflows to merge, unmerge, link, and separate records with audit trails.
Define and monitor resolution-quality, data-quality, and performance measures.
Own data models, APIs, and integration patterns for clinical systems.
Review code, write automated tests, and participate in production incident response.
Mentor engineers and embrace AI-first development practices.
