Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Hands-on across the full SDLC in a team setting.
Track record of automated tests for production software.
Fluency with AI coding assistants and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain features across clinical software platforms in a regulated environment.
Lead and contribute to design and architecture discussions.
Participate in peer code reviews and ensure code quality.
Work with product management to sharpen requirements and estimate backlog items.
Create and maintain design docs, architecture decisions, and runbooks.
Instrument, monitor, and support production systems; handle incidents and root cause analysis.
Build automated test coverage across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
Automate recurring engineering tasks and mentor junior engineers.
Advocate AI-first workflows with appropriate peer review.
Contribute to technical debt remediation and reliability improvements.
