Job summary

Cisco is seeking a senior software engineer to steer the authentication and federation foundation of our identity platform. You will own architecture for core SSO and identity-broker capabilities, guiding secure, scalable design across Cisco products.

You will collaborate with product management and platform teams, drive ADRs, and mentor engineers while applying AI-assisted development practices to ensure security and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design and delivery of distributed systems.
• Backend services and APIs using Python.
• Experience designing or building identity, authentication, authorization, or security capabilities.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to deliver software while maintaining strong standards for security, correctness, and maintainability.

Responsibilities
