Job summary

Scale AI is building the next generation of identity infrastructure to secure access across enterprise systems. The role focuses on designing authentication and authorization foundations, including SSO, MFA, and federated identity approaches like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.

You will drive policy governance aligned with industry standards and collaborate with product and security teams to translate complex concepts into actionable guidance for engineers and non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level knowledge of identity security concepts is expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross‑functional teams.
• Experience delivering authn/authz systems at scale is required.
• Understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and ReBAC concepts is essential.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure identity infrastructure across enterprise systems.
• Develop and deploy SSO, MFA, and federated identity solutions (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
• Implement authorization models like ReBAC, ABAC, and RBAC at scale.
• Define identity governance policies aligned with NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001.
• Present technical guidance to teams and stakeholders on best practices.
