Job summary

Cisco’s Identity Engineering team is hiring for a hands-on, senior contributor who will shape the authentication and federation foundation of our identity platform. You will own architecture for core SSO and identity-broker capabilities, and drive secure, scalable services across Cisco products.

You will work across engineering squads, product management, and platform architecture, applying AI-assisted development practices to ensure security, correctness, and maintainability while mentoring

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with Python and API design.
• Experience with identity, authentication, authorization and security.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to deliver software.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and technical direction for core SSO and identity-broker capabilities.
• Lead design and development of secure, scalable SSO services and APIs.
• Turn ambiguous needs into specifications and executable plans.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-team alignment.
