Job summary

OpenAI in San Francisco is seeking a Product Manager to lead the identity platform across our product suite, including authentication and account lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with engineering, security, GTM, and customer-facing teams to deliver secure, scalable identity capabilities.

You will translate complex identity concepts into customer value, define success metrics, and drive product requirements that enable enterprise adoption of OpenAI's products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management or related industry experience, ideally in identity or security products.
• Ability to translate technical identity concepts into clear customer value and align stakeholders.
• Demonstrated communication, leadership, and execution skills in cross-functional environments.
• Experience building secure, scalable infrastructure enabling enterprise adoption of frontier AI.

Responsibilities

• Build the core user account and authentication experiences powering all OpenAI products.
• Translate identity needs across product suite into prioritized product requirements.
• Build the next generation of identity capabilities to control access to data and accounts.
• Define and track adoption, reliability, and security metrics.
• Develop tools enabling secure integrations with third-party services.
