Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Platform Engineer for the Identity Platform team to design, build, and operate secure identity infrastructure. You will advance governance, SSO, and workload identity across Palantirians and customers worldwide.

You will work on designer-to-prod identity components, enabling least-privilege access, token issuance, and scalable federation while collaborating with Security and Compliance Engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps or software engineering with a security focus.
• Experience deploying and operating containerized services (EKS/ECS) in cloud.
• Experience building/operating production services or APIs.
• Expert-level in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation and tooling for corporate and customer-facing identity platforms.
• Build, secure, and manage geo-redundant containerized services in AWS and Azure.
• Scale SSO integrations across Entra ID tenants using infrastructure-as-code.
• Build tooling to standardize workflows across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Extend identity platform to non-human identities with scoped credentials.
• Build governance layer: entitlements graph and policy engine.
• Design token-issuance and federation flows with least-privilege defaults.
• Research and adopt authentication standards with Security Engineers.
• Threat-model implementations with Identity Security Engineers.
• Collaborate with Security Compliance Engineers to ease compliance.
