Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Senior Identity Engineer to drive identity architecture and platform engineering across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments in Coppell, TX. You will lead design, integration, and support for secure identity capabilities across workforce, non-human, and AI identities.

You will mentor teams, translate designs into code and automation, and ensure operational readiness through testing, monitoring, and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise identity solutions beyond administration.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory in multi-site/multi-forest environments, including authentication, Kerberos, trusts, and interoperability.
• Strong experience with Entra ID, Entra Connect, hybrid identity, federation, and cloud identity integration.
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SCIM, MFA, PKI, RBAC, and privileged access patterns.
• Experience documenting architecture diagrams, design records, integration patterns, failure‑mode analysis, and recovery plans.
• Proficient in Python or PowerShell and in APIs, Git, CI/CD, IaC, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer identity architectures for authentication, authorization, federation, lifecycle, governance, and workload identity.
• Lead research, PoCs, design reviews, and implementation planning for new identity products.
• Engineer AD and Entra ID solutions across multi-site and hybrid environments, including Entra Connect synchronization.
• Create integrations using SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, SCIM, and secure secrets patterns.
• Improve resilience with recovery architectures, monitoring, testing, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Define patterns for non-human identities and governance; enable automation and secure deployments.
