Job summary

Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) seeks Identity & Driver Credential Specialists 1 at a State of Georgia Customer Service Center to issue learner permits, convert out-of-state licenses, and issue driver licenses following state laws. You will interact with diverse customers, handle payments, and ensure accurate records in a high-volume environment.

Role involves driving examinations at times, assisting with CDL/CVE certifications, and maintaining credential equipment while upholding

Qualifications

• 1 year of face-to-face customer service in last 5 years.
• 1 year of face-to-face experience with cash transactions in last 5 years.
• Comfortable using computer and internet technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist citizens with applications, records and documents accurately.
• Accompany drivers for commercial and non-commercial skills tests, in traditional and virtual formats.
• Conduct driving examinations for motorcycle and commercial licenses in accordance with laws.
• Operate visual testing equipment and collect payments.
