Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking an Identity & Access Management Specialist to ensure appropriate physical and logical access to UMC systems, applications, and sensitive areas. You will perform user account administration and collaborate with business units to minimize access-related security risks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience with information technology concepts and applications.
• Security+ certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain personnel and facility security clearance information.
• Manage access control applications (both physical and logical).
• Conduct and maintain Security Profile Assessments to ensure clearance levels are appropriate for each position.
• Interface with HR, physical security, and other department directors to understand access needs.
• Maintain security camera system to ensure availability and data integrity.
• Coordinate with system vendors to ensure high uptime and mitigate issues.
