Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst for AI training. This remote, hourly contract role involves analyzing IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses and misconfigurations.

You will classify permission issues, review zero-trust designs, and generate realistic identity security scenarios to train AI systems. You will explain IAM risk clearly, think like both defender and attacker, and work asynchronously on projects with flexible hours (10–40

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms.
• Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes.
• Familiar with how identity failures occur and how attackers exploit them in practice.
• Able to think like both a defender and an adversary when evaluating access scenarios.

As an IAM Analyst, you’ll bring your real-world security expertise to shape how AI systems reason about identity risk, access control failures, and enterprise security design.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and privilege escalation paths

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms

• Able to think like both a defender and an adversary when evaluating access scenarios
• Strong written communication — you can explain complex security concepts clearly
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on asynchronous tasks

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud IAM platforms (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Okta, etc.)
• Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or access control audits
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST
• Prior experience in AI evaluation or data annotation workflows
