Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an IAM Analyst to work on training AI systems with focus on identity and access management, SSO, and access control. This remote, hourly contract role supports AI research teams and enterprise security modeling.

You will analyze IAM scenarios, identify misconfigurations, and help train AI to recognize real-world security risks. Flexible hours (10–40/wk) and remote collaboration offered.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Analyze IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and failure patterns
• Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity‑related vulnerabilities
• Review zero‑trust models and evaluate access design decisions for correctness and risk
• Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate AI systems
• Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI understand how IAM risk actually emerges and propagates in enterprise environments

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
• Solid understanding of RBAC, least‑privilege models, and access review processes
• Familiar with how identity failures occur in real environments and how attackers exploit them
• Able to communicate technical findings clearly and systematically
• Self‑directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task‑based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud identity platforms (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Okta, etc.)
• Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or security auditing
• Familiarity with SCIM, OAuth, SAML, or directory services
• Prior work on AI training, data labeling, or security research
