Job summary

Makom seeks a Program Manager to lead a team supporting people with IDD, guiding self-determined, meaningful life participation in communities across Maryland and Virginia.

The role emphasizes leading CSLs and DSPs, ensuring high‑quality services, and developing outcomes‑driven measurement systems with strong regulatory adherence. A Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with individuals with IDD are required.
• 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead, resources, and create accountabilities with and for CSLs, DSPs and others who provide direct support to people supported by Makom.
• Connect and resource CSLs and DSPs to training and professional development resources, highlighting self-determination and decision‑making.
• Monitor program implementation to ensure high quality support and inform evidence‑based outcomes measurement systems.
• Ensure services to the people we support align with PCP/ISP and Individual choice.
• Mentor and coach CSLs and DSPs to ensure regulatory compliance and Makom policies.
