Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. in Aliquippa, PA is seeking a Residential Manager-IDD to supervise direct care staff, coordinate training, and ensure compliant operation of the home(s). This is a salaried, exempt, 24/7 on-call role located in Aliquippa, PA.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily programs, staff scheduling, incident reporting, and ensuring safety as well as adherence to HIPAA and agency policies. A Bachelor's in Education is preferred, with a strong background in Human Services.

Qualifications

• Must be able to be on-call 24/7.
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred with Human Services experience.
• Working knowledge of residential practices and IDD understanding.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification and state clearances.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the home and ensure programs are carried out and documented.
• Plan, organize and direct house operations; reinforce care hierarchy and expectations.
• Supervise staff and ensure implementation of individual programs.
• Monitor staff performance and report findings to supervisors.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of individuals; monitor incidents and documentation.
• Conduct training and supervise new staff; participate in staff evaluations.
• Ensure menus and doctor‑prescribed diets are followed and groceries are stocked.
• Maintain materials, supplies, and vehicle maintenance for homes.
