Job summary

Imagine! is seeking a dedicated Residential Care Specialist to support adults with IDD in Boulder and surrounding communities. You will implement person-centered plans, monitor health and safety, document care, and coordinate with treatment teams.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and drive a wheelchair van if needed. Flexible shifts, opportunities for training, and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmental disabilities system in Colorado.
• Ability to work with adults with developmental disabilities in residential settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide for health, safety, and welfare of residents in homes and community.
• Implement, monitor, and report on Person Centered Support Plans.
• Complete documentation and interact with guardians and treatment teams.
• Maintain household operations and safety, including budgeting for resident needs.
• Respond to emergencies and manage crisis situations.
