Job summary

Universal Mental Health Services is hiring a part-time Qualified Professional (QP) to coordinate and monitor services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Burlington, NC. The role focuses on compassionate, organized, person-centered support and collaboration with teams to ensure continuity of care.

Work schedule is 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with competitive wages and benefits including dental, vision, AFLAC, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Related Human Services degree and at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Non-related degree and at least 4 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and computer skills.
• A genuine passion for serving individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Provide person-centered support to individuals and families.
• Collaborate with team members and service providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and service records.
• Use strong communication, organizational, and computer skills to manage daily responsibilities.
