Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services in Illinois. The role oversees 1–4 community programs, coordinating direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality services for individuals with IDD.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years in Human Services, strong communication, and organizational skills. On-call support and leadership in a mission-driven team are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in Human Services preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifts; on-call availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs in a community setting.
• Coordinate direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise program staff including evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make decisions on hires, transfers, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure services are engaging, consistent, and aligned with individuals served.
