Dungarvin is seeking a Program Supervisor in Louisiana to coordinate daily operations of assigned programs, with a focus on staff orientation and ongoing training. This entry-level supervisory role centers on hands-on care while offering growth into supervisory duties.

The position emphasizes person-centered support, teamwork, and ensuring high-quality services to individuals with IDD and other needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• A two-year degree in related social services and/or two years of experience in the field with supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and consistent access to a vehicle.
• A successful background clearance is required as part of onboarding/employment.
• Good communication is key; you will document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and oversight of all employees at assigned programs.
• Monitor, coordinate, and ensure all services to individuals are delivered.
• Program supervisors are expected to ensure all direct service shifts in their program(s) are filled.
• Provide training for employees.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings.
• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as mobility, bed transfers, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and more.
