Job summary

Community Services Group, based in the United States, seeks a Program Specialist to manage assessments and the development, review, and revision of Individual Support Plans (ISPs). You will implement goals in independence, communication, academic and daily living skills to promote greater autonomy.

Reports to the Program Director and supports IDD services. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with flexible hours to meet client and program needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree + 1 year of work experience with IDD individuals or autism.
• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of work experience with IDD individuals or autism.
• Associate’s degree + 4 years of work experience with IDD individuals or autism.

Responsibilities

• Provides training to employees including new employee orientation.
• Coordinates and completes initial and ongoing assessments of individuals.
• Coordinates and develops, reviews, and ensures implementation of individual support plans.
• Works with behavior specialists or therapists to ensure plans are implemented and progress documented.
• Develops and ensures implementation of planned program activities.
• Leads multidisciplinary team meetings pertaining to the individual’s service plan.
• Develops educational materials and assists staff with Person-Centered Planning and ISPs.
• Reports and enters incidents per policy.
