Job summary

Community Services Group is seeking a Program Specialist to coordinate assessments and develop, review, and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) to promote independence for adults with IDD. The role reports to the Program Director and supports a team across multiple disciplines in a daytime, 40-hour workweek.

The position requires advanced education in a related field and experience with individuals with IDD or autism; driving is required for trainings and transport.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with related IDD experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of work with individuals with intellectual disability or autism preferred.
• Associate’s degree with 4 years of work with individuals with intellectual disability or autism accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provides training to employees including on-the-job training and orientation.
• Coordinates and completes initial and ongoing assessments of individuals.
• Coordinates development, review, and implementation of individual support plans (ISPs).
• Collaborates with professionals (behavior specialists, therapists) to ensure plan progress and documentation.
