Job summary

Alvis Inc. seeks an IDD Program Director to oversee activities of assigned programs for DD Services.

The role requires thorough knowledge of programs, leadership to engage clients, and utilization of behavioral techniques to promote healthy decisions and positive interpersonal skills. Education required is a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, or related field; 2 years' DD experience and 2 years' supervisory experience are expected, along with PC/software proficiency

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, or other related field.
• Experience: 2 years' experience in Developmental Disabilities & 2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in lieu of education.
• Skills & Abilities: Skill in use of a personal computer and related software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Advisor).

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of assigned programs/facilities for DD Services.
• Demonstrate leadership to ensure clients are engaged and supported, using therapeutic approaches and promoting healthy decision making.
