Job summary

Sevita, including Mentor Community Services, is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services in Phoenix. The role leads day-to-day operations for multiple community programs, directing direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, compliance, staffing, and budgeting to ensure high-quality services.

You will supervise program staff, handle hiring and performance decisions, and guide program planning to keep services engaging and person-centered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services preferred.
• 2–3 years related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of one to four programs in a community.
• Oversee program staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, and salary changes.
• Oversee program planning; monitor service delivery and ensure engagement.
• Be on-call to support staff, cover shifts as needed.
