Job summary

Alvis Inc. is seeking a passionate IDD Program Director to oversee activities of assigned programs/facilities for DD Services.

Thorough knowledge of the program(s) is required, including social work theories, interventions, evaluation techniques and treatment systems. The Program Director will demonstrate leadership to ensure clients are engaged on a routine basis using cognitive behavioral techniques and positive interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, or a related field.
• 2 years' experience in Developmental Disabilities and 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with common software (e.g., Microsoft Word) and related office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of assigned programs/facilities for DD Services.
• Demonstrate leadership to ensure clients are engaged on a routine basis.
• Utilize cognitive behavioral techniques and promote healthy decision making.
• Use positive interpersonal skills in daily operations.

Career Details:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, or other related field.

Experience: 2 years' experience in Developmental Disabilities & 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.

Skills & Abilities:Skill in use of a personal computer and related equipment and software (e.g., Microsoft Word Applications, Advisor).
