RHA Health Services is hiring an IDD Facility Nurse (RN) for Walnut Creek ICF in Goldsboro, NC. This PRN on-site role offers $32–$38 per hour, with a $6,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

You will oversee health needs, provide care, and train unlicensed staff to support individuals with IDD and related challenges. The role emphasizes holistic nursing, collaboration with physicians and the IDT, and promoting independence and quality of life for clients.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.
• Active, unrestricted nursing license.
• Strong communication with interdisciplinary team members, individuals served, and families.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with IDD.
• Observe, assess, and evaluate health needs of those served.
• Deliver health-related training to unlicensed personnel.
• Educate individuals on health monitoring and medication administration.
• Administer medications and treatments or assist with self-administration.
• Ensure preventive and routine medical appointments are scheduled and maintained.
• Conduct medication closet assessments.
• Perform quality assurance checks on health-related tasks by unlicensed staff.
• Collect and document health-related data.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor for abnormal findings and report to physicians promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the IDT.
• Advocate for individuals and develop community supports for health.
