Job summary

Benchmark Human Services seeks a Behavioral Clinician to support IDD/BH providers in crisis and high-risk settings. You will train agencies on trauma-informed, person-centered care and help develop and monitor plans to improve behavioral supports for individuals served.

The role requires traveling between in-person and remote work, with full-time hours and a focus on crisis response and capacity building within our provider network.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and licensure are required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with IDD/BH supports.
• Trained in crisis de-escalation methods.
• CPR/First Aid certified and valid driver’s license.
• Computer literacy and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in crisis and high-risk placement situations.
• Develop and provide training on person-centered supports and trauma-informed care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Person-Centered Plans and Crisis Safety Plans.
• Provide direct behavioral health interventions and credentialed assessments.
• Supervise practitioners pursuing licensure and certifications.
• Collaborate with the director and crisis support team on training and provider support.
