Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Official transcripts and training certifications are required.
• Experience with IDD population and teaching is preferred.
• Ability to implement classroom instructional techniques and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction in reading, math, computer literacy and employability skills.
• Prepare lesson plans and develop supplemental materials.
• Conduct class field trips to employers and CFCC programs.
• Drive a school vehicle for field trips (non-CDL).
• Maintain attendance and student performance records.
• Oversee policy implementation in the teaching area.
