Job summary

Lumos & Associates seeks an experienced Southern Idaho Civil Engineering Practice Leader to lead and grow our Idaho Civil Engineering practice from Boise. The role focuses on expanding Lumos’ presence, developing client relationships, and mentoring a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The leader will drive business development, oversee project delivery across municipal infrastructure, water, wastewater, and transportation, and collaborate with local authorities to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Idaho.
• 10+ years in civil engineering consulting or related field.
• Experience managing, supervising and mentoring engineering teams.
• Proven success in business development and client proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and promote repeat/referral business.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, and partners.
• Develop responses to SOQs, RFPs, RFQs; manage client projects from start to finish.
• Oversee project delivery for municipal infrastructure, water, wastewater, and transportation projects.
• Manage staffing, workload, and fees; ensure quality and work-life balance.
