Job summary

Block22 Companies in Boise is seeking a friendly Concessions Server to deliver fast, accurate service at Idaho Central Arena during events.

You will greet guests, take orders, process payments at the concession stands, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked counter. The role requires reliability, good math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced arena environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in concessions, food service, or retail preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and outgoing; committed to customer satisfaction.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and stay organized under pressure.
• Available to work shifts per Idaho Central Arena events.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests to create a welcoming experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Operate POS terminal to process cash and card transactions.
• Balance register at end of shift and ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness of the concessions counter and surrounding area.
• Restock condiments, napkins, and supplies as needed.
• Follow sanitation procedures including wiping surfaces and emptying trash.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

We are a destination for experiences beyond the ordinary, the heart of downtown Boise. As a Concessions Server at IC Arena, youll provide fast, friendly service while taking and preparing guest orders and processing payments for Arena concession stands.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests warmly to create a welcoming customer experience
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate point-of-sale terminal to process cash and card transactions
• Balance register at the end of shift and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain cleanliness of the concessions counter and surrounding areas
• Restock condiments, napkins, and other supplies as needed
• Follow sanitation procedures including wiping surfaces and emptying trash
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous concessions, food service, or retail experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods (4+ hours)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
