Job summary

County of Chester in Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Administrative level ID Program Specialist 1 for the MH/IDD Department. The role supports waiver enrollment, service plan review, and QA activities, with data analysis and tracking of compliance timelines.

The position requires travel, a Bachelor's degree, and two years of related experience. It offers an opportunity to collaborate with state agencies, providers, and community partners while maintaining program quality and policy

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of professional-level experience in the appropriate field; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and use of a private vehicle.
  • Substitution of related education for the required experience is allowed.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Waiver programs to assure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Monitor Supports Coordination files for Waiver compliance; prepare written reports and follow-up.
  • Monitor provider service locations for Waiver compliance; prepare written reports and follow-up.
  • Complete administrative File Reports to assure Waiver compliance.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend quality improvements.
  • Serve as liaison with providers and families for MR services.
  • Assist in developing new policies and procedures to improve access to services.
