Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an ID Specialist I Risk Coordinator to support BH/ID/EI programs in Lackawanna-Susquehanna County. You will help manage risk screening, coordinate investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance across agencies while assisting in quality improvement efforts.

This full-time civil service role requires at least two years in intellectual disabilities and a bachelor’s degree. On-site schedule is weekdays 8:30 AM–4:30 PM with no telework option.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Risk Screening Oversight: Manage provider risk screening and oversee qualifications.
• Quality Review Support: Review data, analyze incident reports, assist quality improvement.
• Investigative Coordination: Coordinate with the incident management entity and prepare reports.
• Technical Assistance: Guide Supports Coordination and staff on risk management and compliance.
• Interagency Collaboration: Liaise with county/state partners to improve service quality.
• Administrative Leadership: Lead duties and support case closures and on-call rotations.
