Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center’s Medical Intensive Care Unit in Chicago, IL. The role requires 2.5 years of ICU experience and an active IL RN license, with BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certified nurses preferred.

Shift is nights (19:00–07:30), 36 hrs/week, 13-week assignment, with floating to SICU and Tele/MS units. Overtime only in dire need; no on‑call requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Minimum 2.5 years ICU experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside care for critically ill ICU patients.
• Float to SICU and Tele/MS units as needed; travelers floated first.
• Night shift schedule (19:00–07:30); 36 hours per week; no on‑call required.
