MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN for ICU assignments in Washington, DC, starting 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts (days and nights). The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU or acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and family education and support.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment like ventilators.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for changes in condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
