TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse in Washington, DC for a 13-week assignment. The role is 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. Start date is 10/19/2026. Requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications. Travel assignment and tax-free stipend details apply.

The ICU RN will evaluate and monitor critically ill patients, document care, and coordinate with physicians while supporting families and care teams.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• NIH certification noted in requirements.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor ICU patients.
• Document and report patient status; follow physician-directed care plans.
• Educate and support patient families; assist with long-term care planning.
