Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Washington, DC. The ICU RN will provide comprehensive critical care, operate life-support equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 13-week assignment.

Required qualifications include one year ICU RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS. Preferred CCRN/TNCC/NIHSS certifications and other licenses may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of ICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications.
• CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS or other certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to status changes.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per ICU protocols.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
