TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse in Washington, DC for a travel nursing assignment in the ICU setting. The position is for a 13-week assignment starting 10/12/2026, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour rotating shifts.

This travel role requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and offers a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. As an ICU Travel Nurse, you will evaluate and monitor patients, administer medications, order tests, and provide family education.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required for ICU travel assignments.
• Strong critical care knowledge and patient monitoring abilities.
• Ability to handle life-threatening situations and communicate effectively with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and administer prescribed medications.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Monitor specialized equipment and document patient status.
