Job summary

Vista Specialty Hospital in La Mirada, CA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to plan and deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process. The role requires coordination with patients, families and the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited BSN or ADN program.
• Current RN license in California.
• BLS & ACLS required.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Ventilator, Telemetry, and/or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participate in discharge planning and related processes.
