Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Intensive Care Unit role to provide professional nursing care to acutely and critically ill patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies. You will perform comprehensive assessments, manage hemodynamic monitoring and titrated therapies, and evaluate patient response to treatment.

The position requires ICU/critical care experience, valid RN licensure in the state of practice, and BLS/ACLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Intensive care or critical care nursing experience is required.
• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice; BLS and ACLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for acutely and critically ill patients.
• Manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring and interpret results to guide care.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive medications, sedation and other critical care therapies.
• Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced airway support.
• Respond to emergent changes in patient condition and participate in resuscitation events.
• Maintain accurate documentation and serve as a preceptor and clinical resource to staff.

Education

RN licensure in the state of practice
