Job summary

Vista Specialty Hospital in Tucson, AZ seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will coordinate care with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams, and communicate condition changes to physicians and supervisors.

The role supports discharge planning and ongoing patient assessment, with preference for nurses experienced in ventilator/telemetry/ICU settings. Arizona RN licensure, BLS & ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited BSN or ADN program.
• Current RN license issued in Arizona.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred.
• Ventilator/Telemetry/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop and modify nursing care plans with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as needed.
• Communicate patient condition changes with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and team members.
• Participate in patient discharge planning and coordination.
