Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by NCSBN.
• Two year experience in nursing, particularly Telemetry.
• One year in Step Down unit.
• Current Florida Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Delivers advanced professional and technical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with life-threatening illnesses.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Assists in planning and supervising secretaries and Nursing Assistants to provide care for multiple patients.
• Incorporates critical thinking to adjust the plan of care based on patient outcomes.
