Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological and therapeutic components specific to the critically ill patient.
• Experience with telemetry/PCU and EKG competency is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with strong critical thinking.

Responsabilités

• Delivers professional and technical nursing care to patients per hospital policies.
• Assists physicians during treatments and examinations of patients.
• Prepares equipment and monitors patient status using nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Assists in planning, supervising and instructing Licensed Practical Nurses and Patient Care Assistants.
• May take charge relief assignments occasionally.
