NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY is seeking an ICU Technician - Neurosurgery for a part-time night shift. The role focuses on phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and glucose testing, working closely with nurses to deliver patient-centered care at the bedside.

Candidates should have at least two years of Nursing Attendant experience, recent related training, and be prepared to work on-site within the NYP Columbia University Medical Center.

Formación

• Minimum of two years current Nursing Attendant experience in a health care setting.
• Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant.
• Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant.

Responsabilidades

• Perform phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and blood glucose testing.
• Be the eyes and ears of the nursing team and collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants.
• Enter a room with calm, compassion and professionalism to put patients and families at ease.
