Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Nursing Aide, EMT Basic or Paramedic course.
• Basic computer skills; good interpersonal, phone and customer service skills.
• Preferred: One year acute care experience or equivalent.
• Current WY CNA license, WY EMS or WY Paramedic provider license and BLS at hire; CPI within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient rooms and assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Take and record vital signs, weight, height and I&O.
• Assist with meals and activities of daily living; provide morning/evening care.
• Assist with pre/postoperative care and telemetries; learn heart rhythms.
• Maintain safety/isolation procedures and transport supplies/equipment.
