Job summary

Provides direct clinical care on the medical/surgical unit and collaborates with the team to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care. The role emphasizes safety, care planning, and patient-family education, with potential to float to other units as needed.

Qualifications

• ASN required.
• BSN and ACLS preferred.
• Current RN license with authority to practice in Wyoming.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• CPI certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient data to develop an individualized, safe plan of care.
• Develop a care plan with measurable goals and discharge follow-up needs.
• Provide direct patient care and age-appropriate education to patients and families.
• Assist with daily routines, maintain unit safety, and support staff as needed.
