Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks an RN to provide direct clinical patient care in a 36-bed ICU step-down unit with advanced monitoring. Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, and coordinating education and transfers as needed across shifts.

Qualifying candidates hold an Associate, BSN, or MSN and possess Maryland RN licensure with current BLS certification. Experience less than one year is noted, with on-site duties expected.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing and/or Bachelor of Science in Nursing and/or Master of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Accurately evaluates assigned patient and documents clinical assessments, prioritizing patient/family needs into plan of care.
• Assesses and documents patient/family educational needs to aid in informed decision making and facilitate transfers.
• Performs hourly rounding and develops discharge plans, independently or with other staff.
