Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical patient care on the Intermediate Care Unit, a 36-bed ICU step-down caring for stable and critically ill adults requiring close monitoring.

Under the direction of the unit manager, you will assess, plan, and implement age-appropriate care, perform hourly rounding, and coordinate discharge planning, contributing to a fast-paced critical care environment.

Qualifications

• RN education: ADN/BSN/MSN as applicable
• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility
• Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient and documents assessments and plan of care including pain and comfort needs
• Assesses education needs and coordinates resources for informed decision making and transfer
• Performs hourly rounding and develops discharge plans with staff collaboration
