Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a registered nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in our 24/7 Intensive Care Unit. The RN is accountable under the Ohio Board of Nursing and collaborates with LPNs and UAPs.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, participate in process improvement, and uphold safety and quality as a High Reliability Organization. Night shift with 36 hours weekly is offered.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or multi-state compact license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate response to care and revise plans as needed.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations: ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in duties as an HRO.
