Prime Healthcare Services is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) for Dallas Medical Center, per diem with day shifts. The ICU RN will provide advanced critical care, monitor patients, administer meds, and support families while coordinating with the medical team.

A valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and ICU experience are required or preferred. Responsibilities include managing life-support devices and ensuring infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients by performing assessments, developing care plans, and implementing complex nursing interventions.
• Use advanced equipment like cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and capnography devices to track vital signs and parameters.
• Safely administer medications and IV fluids with precise dosing and monitor responses.
• Manage life-support devices such as ventilators and dialysis machines.
• Provide emotional support to families and coordinate with the medical team on care plans.
