Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a per diem day shift. You will provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and act as professional leader to the healthcare team, grounding care in Patient Centered Care fundamentals.

Qualifications include NV RN license, 1+ year ICUexperience, BLS, and ACLS or within six months of hire; UHS network offers BENEFITS and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada nursing license.
• At least one year of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS.
• Current ACLS (or obtained within six months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients with goals and discharge plans.
• Completes hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety and anticipate patient needs.
• Supports and informs patient and family about Patient Centered Care delivery model.
