Advocate Health is seeking a part-time registered nurse for the ICU in Manitowoc County. Day shift hours are 0700-1930. If no prior ICU experience, ICU training will be provided within 6 months. 24 hours per week with rotating holidays and eligibility for benefits.

The role requires RN licensure with BLS, and a BSN is preferred. Strong clinical judgment and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges.
• BLS certification.
• BSN preferred (not required).
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintain a culture of safety and ensure patient safety at all times.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as per protocols.
• Communicate effectively and delegate appropriately within the team.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
• Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and provide unbiased patient care.
• May float to other units within the service area to meet needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
